Quilt Show Update
Hello everyone quick reminder that we are now less than a month away from the quilt show. We are still looking for quilt entries. Please make sure you get your entry forms to Donna McTague preferrably by the 4/1/12 deadline. If you are working on a quilt for the show and are not sure it will be ready, please still fill out the form. The quilt card can be pulled on the day of the show. If you have a challenge, mystery, clothing and bags, make-it and Take It from Halloween or Christmas, please consider putting it in the show.
Any Penny Raffle items not already delivered to Denise Orecchio please bring it to the April meeting. There will be a comfort quilt/charity corner where we will be displaying what charities items we have been making and to whom they are being given to. If you have an item you want to be in that charity corner, please let us know.
Reminder, check in for quilts is between 9:30 am to 1:00 pm if you are working please arrange for someone to drop it off and remember to get your receipt for this. At the April meeting, we will be going around with the sheet for volunteers to sign up. Any member signing up will get a badge picked up at admissions and will get into the show for free. All others will have to pay admission. We are only looking for a block of 2 hours. Thanks and see you at the next meeting.

The time is approaching fast, so let’s do some spring cleaning and show off some of those great winter projects we all have been working on.
This is your time to shine and show others your hidden talents, from beginner to advance quilters looking for all types and kinds.
Do not be afraid to show your stuff, we all love looking at quilts to inspire us and others.

April 1 is the deadline for submitting the attached form letting us know what you will be selling in the Boutique during the quilt show. Please email your form back to Linda Jeffrey at email@example.com or mail it to her at 21 Lothrop St., Saugus, MA 01906. You will then receive the form with your assigned number on which you need to itemize what you will be selling. Brenda Lane will take your intent form at the April meeting and give you an itemized form at that time.
We are looking for hand-crafted items from members to sell. These items do not have to be quilted! They can be crocheted, knitted, embroidered, painted or made of wood. Every item needs to be priced by you and have a pinned price tag attached, which includes the price, a brief description and your assigned number. The price tags will be kept and you will receive your payment at the May meeting based on the price tags we have minus 10% which goes to the guild.
All hand-crafted items with your itemized form for the boutique need to be brought to the Americal Civic Center, 467 Main Street, Wakefield, Mass., on Friday, April 20, between 9:00 am and 1:30 pm. If you cannot bring your items on Friday, please contact either Linda Jeffrey or Brenda Lane to make other arrangements.
